Easy Hogwarts Letter Ornament

Have you always wanted a letter to Hogwarts? Me too! With this easy Hogwarts Letter Ornament you finally get your invite to Hogwarts for all wizards and witches to see. (Muggles will see a blank space on your tree.) This DIY  Harry Potter ornament is cheap to make and takes roughly five minutes.

• To begin gather your materials. You will need:
• Scissors
• Cardstock and a color printer
• A hot glue gun and glue sticks
• Ribbon
• A hole punch

First, find the image you want to use online and print it out on your cardstock paper. Then cut out the “letter” leaving a small white border around all edges.

Cut the corners from the white border to the edge of the letter on all four corners.

Fold the corners of the letter down on all eight of the edges.

Next fold the white borders under the letter so you can no longer see them. This gives it a more of an envelope feel than just a square piece of paper.

Hot glue the edges under the letter to hold it in place.

Use your hole punch to create the opening for your ribbon to hang.

Cut a length of ribbon of your choice.

Tie the ribbon into a loop and trim the edges.

And now you finally have your own Hogwarts letter! Hang it on your tree or anywhere else and enjoy.
