Does your holiday tree need more Harry Potter cheer? The answer to that is always yes, yes and yes! Today I’ve got an easy and cheap ornament that you can make endless amounts of!
Hit up my amazon storefront for all of my ideas on books, Harry Potter, Harry Potter Christmas, and more!
To begin with, gather your materials. You will need:
- An empty glass/plastic ball
- Scissors
- Ribbon
- A page from a chapter title in a Harry Potter book of your choice (you can also scan a book if you don’t have one that’s being recycled)
- Tissue Paper
Pick your book page! To make mine more festive I chose the Christmas Godric’s Hollow chapter.
Cut into a rounded square image to fit the ball.
Open up your ornament.
Roll picture slightly to get inside the ornament.
The picture should unfurl, but you can stick your finger or a pencil in to move it around.
Fill in the rest of your ornament with slightly crumpled tissue paper in the color of your choice.
Keep adding until the ornament is full.
Cut a length of ribbon and tie it into a loop.
Hang on your tree and enjoy!
