DIY Harry Potter Vision Board
If you like me, are a Harry Potter fan who also writes, you might be in need of a vision board. I love this one from Pottery Barn but my wallet does not, so I went about making my own budget version that you can customize to your hearts content!
First, gather your materials. You will need:
- Cork board of preferred size/shape
- Scissors
- Pins
- Fabric of preferred pattern
- Fabric glue or other preferred strong glue
- Command Strips (optional)
Take your cork board and cut out a piece of fabric slightly larger than the cork.
Fold the fabric over and glue to the cork board. I used fabric glue. Make sure to keep the side of the fabric you want to display turned out.
Fold all four sides over and glue in place. Let dry.
I decided to do two different colored pieces of fabric.
Once all of your corkboard pieces dry, add command strips to the back if you are trying to avoid damage to your walls. Otherwise you can use nails and a hammer or other method of permanent hanging.
Hang in the pattern you desire on your wall.
Add whatever you’d like to your vision board with pins and enjoy!
