DIY Harry Potter Chocolates
An easy craft you can make for Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Halloween, Birthdays, and just for fun, is Harry Potter chocolates! This simple craft produces high end and delicious chocolates in a half hour or less.

To begin, gather your materials. You will need:
- A chocolate mold (I got mine from Williams Sonoma, but Amazon has some good ones, including this chocolate frog mold I own)
- Baking Chocolate and/or Chocolate Chips
- Optional: Pretzels, sprinkles, candies, marshmallows etc to add to the chocolates
- Bowl(s) and spoon(s)
- Access to a freezer
- Access to either a microwave or a stove with a pot
- Optional: Plastic bags to distribute your chocolates
Place chocolate chips/baking chocolate in bowls. Get one spoon per bowl. I made chocolates in milk, dark, and white chocolate.

I prefer the double boiler method (without using a double boiler.) I will link to a tutorial here. Essentially, you need a pot with water and a stove.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave or over your boiling pot.
Stir frequently until chocolate is smooth.
Take your chocolate mold (here are some options to use) and add the melted chocolate. Don’t worry about being messy, just make sure to fill the molds.
Pop in freezer for around 10 minutes minimum.
Take out of freezer and remove carefully from mold. Break off any access chocolate around the edges.
Serve for guests or place in separate cute containers to distribute. I used these plastic bags with ties.
