I absolutely love the Harry Potter funko advent calendars, but I was extremely disappointed my third year opening them to find a ton of duplicates from the first two advent calendars. Luckily, I saw on my instagram that one of my mutual friends, @bellatrixlestrange_18 had turned their duplicate funkos into little ornaments by putting a hook into the funko heads! I took this idea and ran with it. If you have funkos or legos you’d like to turn into ornaments, follow my steps and create your own unique, one of a kind Potter ornaments!

Gather your materials. You will need:
- funkos, legos, or other Harry Potter figurines.
- Clear plastic ornaments that open (various sizes) I got mine from Michaels
- Superglue
- Hooks or ribbon for the ornaments. You can see I used ribbon
- Scissors
- Optional: printer paper for foldable decorations
- Optional: mini presents, christmas props etc for decoration
For this ornament I used tiny packages you can buy at a craft store, and mini candy canes I bought from a craft store. You can see I originally intended to use Ron and a tiny version of this chocolate frog box I printed out and folded, and he ended up not fitting, so he’ll get his own ornament.
Next I opened my ornament and glued in the presents and candy canes, adding Harry on top. I added a ribbon and looped it into a knot.
Here is how the ornament looks open, without the other half of the plastic ball closed on it.
