If you don’t have any original Harry Potter ornament ideas, another way you can add ornaments to your tree is by finding foldable crafts that already exist online, printing them, and adding a simple ribbon or hook to them! First, gather your materials. You will need:
- A color printer
- Cardstock
- Scissors
- Ribbon
- hot glue gun or superglue
- Foldable crafts you want to turn into ornaments
To demonstrate, I’ll show you how I turned Little Luxuries Loft’s craft into ornaments. I absolutely loved these foldable boxes she created, and they turn into fun ornaments! To get her printable template, go here:
Cut out and fold your boxes from cardstock. Cut a length of ribbon in the desired color.
Take your permanent glue and add some glue to the back of your ornament (the package) or the top (Hedwig and the trunk.) I used a hot glue gun. Loop ribbon and glue the ends onto the ornament.
Hang on your tree and enjoy!
Repeat this craft for any fun Harry Potter foldable you find. I purchased a set of super cute foldable Weasley products from etsy that are sadly no longer available and shrunk them down for an ornament craft.
