DIY Harry Potter Book Paper Ornaments

This holiday season learn to make your own super easy DIY book paper ornament! You can use any book page or custom make it to be Harry Potter themed like I did.

Hit up my amazon storefront for all of my ideas on books, Harry Potter, Harry Potter Christmas, and more!

To begin with, gather your materials. You will need:

  • An empty glass/plastic ball.
  • Scissors
  • Ribbon
  • Sharpie (optional)
  • Glitter (optional)
  • A page from a recycled book (you can also use newspapers, sheet music, magazines, or scan a book if you don’t have one that’s being recycled

First, take your book page and cut into small thin strips.

Next, use a pencil, pen, or your finger to wrap the book page around until it’s all rolled.

Place the rolled up book page inside the ornament ball through the removable lid.

Do this until the ball is full.

Cut a length of ribbon and tie it in a loop.

Add glitter inside if you want, or draw a shape on the ball. I (badly) drew a Deathly Hallows symbol and added gold glitter to mine.

Hang and enjoy!
