I have said that while Chamber of Secrets is nostalgically my favorite of the Harry Potter books, it’s really Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban that I consider the best. Why? Let’s count the ways.

Harry’s got a godfather! And some chocolate.
Prisoner of Azkaban is tightly plotted, suspenseful, funny, and chock full of Marauder deliciousness. What’s not to love?!
