15 Harry Potter Crafts

Bored and crafty? Planning a Harry Potter party of some kind? Have a “Potter” fan that needs entertaining? Try one of my DIY Harry Potter crafts to pass the time! These crafts range from super easy and cheap to slightly more difficult. Absolutely none of them require actual artistic talent, as I have none.

Hit up my amazon storefront for all of my ideas on books, Harry Potter, Harry Potter Christmas, and more!

  1. Bertie Botts Beans

The classic craft! You can even turn this into ornaments.

2. Chocolate Frog

Another craft you can make as is or as an ornament in multiple forms. Once you get good at these, you can knock out the Bertie Botts and Chocolate Frog crafts in bulk

3. Potion Bottles

One of the more “difficult” crafts on the list, but these are addictive, cheap, and involves recycling!

4. Honeydukes Jars

You will be surprised at how easy it is to make amazing looking Honeydukes props!

5. Book Charms

Create as many of these as you like, and turn them into earrings, rings, necklaces, or bookmarks!

6. Bottlecap Pins

Another upcycling craft, save up your bottlecaps and make tons of pins

7. Quill Pens

Grab a cheap pen, a feather, and some paint, and voila. A quill pen.

8. Chocolates

Not as cheap as some of the others, this craft is delicious and you can turn into fun presents. Once you own the chocolate molds you can make them all the time!

9. Spellbooks

Perhaps the most difficult craft on the list, but a huge hit when I’ve done it. Take an old encyclopedia or other out of date book and turn it into a spooky spellbook with minimal crafts or talent. Mainly only takes time.

10. Wand Holders

Instead of spending fifty dollars on a wand holder, spend less than ten dollars on one that holds four or more wands at once.

11. Prophecy Ball

Super easy but not the cheapest, this is a good craft for one to five people, and not a large group.

12. DIY Containers

Upcycle some more with these two different ways to take household materials and turn them into Harry Potter organization tools.

13. Vision Board

Another easy but perhaps not cheap craft involves cork board, fabric, and fabric glue. Make as many as you need.

14. Harry Potter Book Props

A fun way to upgrade books that maybe are well worn. Slap on a Harry Potter themed cover and keep your well loved books to read and as props! This craft is cheap, easy, and recycling!

15. Harry Potter Washi Tape Notebooks

Take a cheap notebook and customize it! This involves budget supplies and you don’t need any artistic talent.
